Weight-Loss Wardrobe Clear-Out

So this weekend, I decided on doing a weight-loss wardrobe clear-out. I won't bother selling any of it, it's all going in a charity bag - hopefully someone else will get some use out of it. I've only dropped one size, but I think that it's important not to leave old too-big comfy clothes lying around - I don't want to get comfortable just yet, I still have weight to shift and I don't want bigger clothes in my wardrobe saved for a rainy day. So I started a big wardrobe clear-out and I have tool some photos to show how my body has changed.

It's not that big a deal, but I wanted to record it here to remind myself how well I have done and to keep on!

So this is the most recent photo of me. I am feeling quite chuffed with my weight loss. This dress is a size 14, I have plenty of room in it and it is comfortable. Excuse the toilet-picture. The toilets I was in today had a full length mirror and I thought I would take advantage!

My wardrobe is just a big old mess. Loads of random old clothes, all sizes. Even maternity. It really is desperate for an overhaul.

So we began digging around...

So first of all this is a plain black dress. I wore this when I was pregnant. With both girls. And I actually gave birth to Rosie wearing it. Emily said it is disgusting that I keep it and it needs to go directly into the bin.

So yes, that's where it went.

It's a size 16 and very dreary. When I was bigger or pregnant I always bought clothes that I thought hid all my lumps and bumps, dark colours, high waist lines.

Next to charity were a pair of size 16 trousers. They are huge on me now. The picture doesn't do it justice and I apologise for the corny pose.

Then a top that is also a 16 - literally falling off me. I've put a photo of when it fit me here too.

Oh look I'm eating ice cream in the before pic...
Then there was this lovely dress that I bought for New Years Eve about six years ago. It is huge on the neck now, and roomy everywhere else.

I also got rid of shoes, old tops, old pyjamas. It felt good.

Now all I need to do is stock back up...
