Operation Wobbly Bottom: Slimming World Weigh-In Week #4

So we are on weigh-in week 4 for #operationwobblybottom already - time has flown. I'll be honest, I am still absolutely loving the plan! I was a bit apprehensive stepping on the scales tonight - I feel bloated and just a bit stuffed - I think so-called "star week" is the problem here! We also have had Easter, and although I didn't indulge in any chocolate treats I did have some nacho-type snacks and lots of wine, as we were on holiday!

However I was pretty good and packed my lunches and breakfasts - I think I did a good job.

The scale was teetering between 1 and 2lbs - totally happy with that.

That makes a total of 11lbs lost. My aim is to hit my stone loss in two weeks. Slow and steady wins the race.

The way I eat has changed completely. The amount of fruit that I am eating is amazing - veg too. I am LOVING the plan. Someone in work told me I look "so healthy!" Which is a great compliment. I am starting to feel the weight loss across my shoulders now. My dresses in a size 16 are starting to loosen. I have promised myself a nice little shopping spree when I drop sizes.

When I think about what I used to eat - it seems a million miles away.

That type of food is fine if that's what you're in to. But the truth is it was making me unhappy. Stuck in this horrible cycle of "I love my food, me" while shovelling in greasy processed food, without any control.

Below is my roast dinner this weekend. It was GORGEOUS. I properly stuffed my face and was full as a gun. This was all free, all healthy food - it was just what I needed - carrot, swede, kale, chicken, and quite a large portion of spuds done in Fry Light oil. I'm eating all this and losing weight, and feeling better every day.

Joining Slimming World is the best decision that I have made. I still have a long way to go - but I have lost more weight and feel better than I have in years. Warren has made a yummy coleslaw this week - I will have to take a photo for next week - it's basically made from grated red cabbage, onions, carrots - chuck in coriander and some no-fat yoghurt - brilliant. Goes with salads and everything - great speedy weight-loss food!

This week I would like to drink less wine. (Again - they'll be carting me off to bloody AA after Slimming World at this rate!) I am also going to re-acquaint myself with the gym - I do enjoy the gym, but I need to make time and get a routine going.

My body is changing, and I am feeling better for it. And yes, I might just change the bum picture to a smaller one once I think it is actually smaller :)
