New Year New You!

It’s that time again where all of our problems will be solved – hurray! Of course, everyone sticks to their New Year’s Resolutions… right? Well, probably not, but it’s the thought that counts. When it comes to some frankly ridiculous ones like getting a body like Beyonce or winning the lottery, there’s not a lot you can do. But as for some of the simpler ones – I’ve got you covered! So, with January 1st right around the corner (scary!) here goes…

Look After Your Body
No, I don’t mean starve yourself of all the essential nutrients, thank you very much. There are plenty of ways you can take care of yourself which aren’t synonymous with squeezing into a size zero! One great way of giving back after all that you do is taking some time for yourself – perhaps by indulging in a massage? Physiotherapy, for example, can help with a number of ailments caused by daily life or activities- especially when you have kids (ha, ha). If you’re considering it, take a look at this article for ways it can help! Of course, if you do want to lose (or gain!) some weight for 2015, there are plenty of sensible ways you can do this. Just be happy in who you are!

Cut Down Your Vices
Life would be pretty rubbish if we couldn’t all enjoy our bad habits from time to time, now wouldn’t it! But if you’ve got more than one, perhaps it’s time to consider cleaning up your act just a little bit! Take a look at the Drink Aware website, for example, on what the effects of those glasses of wine might REALLY be doing! If it’s smoking you’re looking to quit, for the family or more importantly yourself, there are much tastier alternatives out there to help you on your way. E-cigs come in loads of flavours like this for example, so that’s a good place to get started.

Give Back

No matter how nice of a person we think we are, there’s always more we can do for others. There are loads of different ways you can give back to those less fortunate or those going through a difficult time, or even just loads of ways you can be more respectful or appreciative of those around you! Why not look at volunteer opportunities in your region, for example, or even just look up ways of performing Random Acts Of Kindness. You’ll feel better about yourself for sure – and others will too! Plus, it’s a great example to set to any little ones you might have.
