Review: Bells Shoes

So as you know, I will be starting a new job in a few days' time.

#eeek.

So I have been on a little mission to try and buy some new clothes and outfits - new job, new start. With Autumn/Winter well underway I also needed new shoes for work - so when I was asked to review Bells Shoes, of course I jumped at the chance.

The pair I chose are by Hotter in Emerald Black. They are a slip on with a 45mm heel and pretty elasticated panel across the body of the foot.

I honestly generally am not a big fan of heels for work. I like to be very comfortable, and I also like to be able to run between buildings to get things done - for this reason heels do not suit my feet! However, the Hotter concept of the shoe is so much better for your feet than a normal shoe. The insole is padded and acts like a shock-absorber for the heel. This is great for people like me who are on the short side and would like a bit of height, but are pretty allergic to heels in general!

The design of these is really pretty. I love the leaf-style design of the panel at the front - this is so flexible and allows a bit of give for when you are walking.

I found the front very flattering and feminine and the comfort was amazing.  I wore these to a blogging conference in Birmingham - after I had walked to the venue and caught my train and then did a full lap of Aldi on the way home (we go to all the most exciting places!) - my feet were still happy. These are a very comfortable shoe.

I had some feedback on my last review - you wanted to see what I would wear these with. So here you go - I did a spot of modelling. (Hand on hip and everything *slight cringe*)

I would generally wear a smart/casual dress to work with a little cardigan, tights and the shoes just look perfect like this. I am a polka-dot addict and the black shoes will go with anything in my wardrobe so I am one happy lady.

These shoes are £75 and although they are a bit more expensive than what I would usually pay, I would definitely recommend these. I know that they will last me, and the best thing about them is the comfort. Bells Shoes were great - the shoes arrived quickly, delivered from their website, and they also included a cute little keyring, pen and post-it notebook, which I found a lovely little personal touch, I would definitely recommend Bells Shoes, these are gorgeous - love them!
