The 'When-I've-Sold-My-House' Book

I have this absolutely gorgeous notebook. It was a present for my birthday. It has a hard-back and folds over with a magnetic closure. The art-work is beautiful.

I think it was from Blackwell's.

Look how gorgeous it is.

And so, as you may or may not know. I have a house to sell in Manchester. I lived there before I moved to Liverpool. So we pay two mortgages - there is not a lot of spare cash in our house at the minute.

That means I have a very long bucket-list. And so, this beautiful notebook...

This is where I write all my wants and needs.

When I look at the minus sign on my bank account.

When I have to pay Rochdale frigging Council £104 a month in council tax on an empty house.

When I think that working for no money at all is absolutely sending me to the edge.

I write what I will buy when the house is sold. In lists. Pretty organised ones.

Have a look. It's mainly underwear and holidays.

And so for now, the house remains unsold. And I pay for its upkeep - wages equal to outgoings.

And this book, holding all the best things that I want to have and do. BRAS BRAS BRAS BRAS.

And when that house is sold??

Well, it's two fingers to the man, and SHOPPING SHOPPING MOTHAF&CKING SHOPPING FOR ME.

Or just living a normal one-mortgage life, with a couple of spare pounds at the end of the month to spend on the kids.
