My Open University Experience

This is a vlog about my experience with the Open University.

I put my posh voice on and EVERYTHING.

Hope you enjoy, feedback appreciated!

  1. Really interesting video. I've been toying with the OU for a while now but I'm not in a place (mentally or location wise) to be able to do it right now. Maybe one day. I hope you pass with flying colours, I'm sure you will!

Thank you! I hope that you get to study. It really is great. :)

  3. Congratulations for making it this far! :) I finished my Open University degree last year, graduating in December with a First Class (BSc) Hons Life Sciences after 8 years of party time study. I too had two babies along the way. Many, many months were spent with a breastfeeding baby in one arm, a pencil in the other hand and an OU book perched on baby's body! I'm so glad I persevered. I would encourage anyone toying with the idea just to go for it - start with one of the small 10 point introductory courses to see what it's like and take it from there.

Well done Elizabeth. It is hard, but so worth it!

  5. Fantastic video - really inspiring stuff which should be essential viewing for anybody thinking of taking the plunge into OU life! I particularly liked your response to 'But it's not a real university, is it?' :-)
