A girls' night in is a great way to catch up with your friends in a nice relaxing setting. You can chat, dress comfortably and have some fun. Here are a few ideas for a great night in with your best friends.

If you don't fancy a night out at your local bingo hall or sitting in front of a computer playing on, why not set up your own bingo night. There are a number of ways you can do this. There are DVDs you can buy or you could invest in your own bingo wheel and balls.

Add in some cocktails, music and some nibbles and you've got yourself a fantastic evening.

Movie night

Settle down in front of the TV with a few of your favourite films. You can make popcorn, discuss the relative merits of different actors, laugh, cry and chat. This is a great chance to catch up over something you all love. It's probably best not to watch something you haven't seen before. Choose an old favourite that you don't mind chatting over.

Wine tasting

A wine tasting is a very civilised way to spend an evening. Choose a few bottles of wine and find some food to pair with them. You can do this with cheese, or a full three course meal. This is a great way to try some delicious food and drink. If you're not sure what to buy, speak to your local wine shop for recommendations on what to eat and drink.

You could even provide tasting cards so you can your friends can take notes.

Game night

This might be an evening of fun physical gaming on the Wii or Xbox Kinect or it might mean pyjamas, board games and plenty of cups of tea.

Stock up on all sorts of games, from the retro to the ridiculous. Perhaps try a game of Cards Against Humanity or get the latest racing game for your console. You need games that are suitable for multiple players, fun to watch and that incite conversation.

Spa night

Give yourself and your friends the chance to relax and unwind. You could bring in some beauty therapists to pamper you or you could do it all yourselves. DIY manicures, foot baths and facials will all go down a treat. If you want to do something special for your friends then you could even get them little pamper packs containing nail polish, moisturiser and other goodies.

Craft night

Have you ever wanted to design your own t-shirt or customise a pair of shoes? Well this is the perfect chance. Get some friends over and stock up on plain t-shirts and court shoes, fabric glue, diamanté, studs, fabric paint and permanent markers.

You can then all go wild and create your perfect t shirt and shoes.  Click here for inspiration.

If customising clothing isn't your style then how about baking night. It lets you use your creativity but you get to eat all the yummy things at the end of the evening.
