Review: JUST EAT App

We were given a voucher to cover the cost of our food in exchange for an honest review. All words and views are my own.

We were really excited to get a chance to work with JUST EAT to review their app. As you can probably guess, I am a bit of a nerd and I really like getting techy with such a normal thing like ordering a take away! Add to that the fact that I wouldn't be cooking and you have one happy Mummy!
We were looking forward to doing the review on Saturday night when we were all relaxed and enjoying our weekend, and were looking forward to an easy tea. It wasn't all straight-forward, but JUST EAT's customer service was spot on.

The Service

JUST EAT is a food delivery service that allows you to order your food online. Menus for your favourite take aways are sorted by you entering your postcode in the search box. It really couldn't be simpler. The JUST EAT app downloaded in seconds and we were good to go. You can get the app from the Google Play store or the Apple store.

We received an email confirmation almost instantly letting us know an approximate time of delivery. Ours said 8.50pm and the food arrived at 8.55pm so it was pretty spot on really.

Food

Well, we chose a lovely Indian takeaway in Liverpool. We have ordered from there before, so we know that it is a great place to eat. Here are the messy food pics - that's what take aways are all about!

Saturday night take away in pyjamas. Living the high life!

Problem Resolution!

I hadn't had time in the week to apply our voucher code to our account. I had managed to set the account up, but I had forgotten to apply the code. We downloaded the app onto the tablet, and picked our favourite Indian takeaway. We spent time picking our food, and when I entered the code in - the worst happened - invalid code. To say we were disappointed was an understatement, as we had really looked forward to our night off cooking. I was about to give up, when I saw that Just Eat have instant online customer service.

I was connected to a helpful customer service representative named Chris A, and our problem was literally solved in minutes. Here is a screen shot.

I think that is the test of a great service - present them with a problem and they fix it. They get ten out of ten from me! We would definitely recommend the JUST EAT app.

As an aside, the food was lovely too! Perfect Saturday night.

We're going on an adventure
