Review: gNappies - The Reusable Eco-Friendly Nappy

starter bundleWe were given a sample of gNappies for the purpose of the review. All words and views are my own.

We were really excited to be picked to review reusable eco-friendly nappies by gNappies.
Having the two babies in nappies means that we do go through them like mad. I have never used washable nappies or anything like that - I have always stuck to disposables, so using these nappies was a very different, but positive experience for me!

We were given a lovely white nappy with pink stitching detail, a reusable water-proof insert, and a stack of disposable inserts, and we were good to go.

How they work:

The concept is really simple. You just pick the nappy - there are lots of colours and designs to choose from on their website, pop the waterproof pouch inside, and tuck the disposable pad inside that. When you change your baby you simply throw away the disposable insert, and the rest is machine washable.

Green Nappies
The inserts are 100% biodegradable and are better for the environment than traditional disposable nappies.

Cost
Starter bundles start from £75. This includes 2 gPants in a colour of your choice and a pack of disposable inserts.

Overall I found these nappies to be easy to use, and certainly more attractive that usual nappies. The only potential downside is the cost. I find that the nappies we use are cheaper than gNappies. But not everything is about money of course - if you want to make the initial investment, and are keen to use biodegradable nappies then this may be the choice for you. I certainly found their website to be really informative, and they genuinely seem to care about their product and the parents that use them. This means a lot to me, and I really enjoyed reading the information provided.
