Weight Watchers Biscuits & Snacks: Review

Now that it is getting colder and the nights are drawing in, I like to sit in with a lovely cup of coffee at night and have a bit of something sweet. A nice dunking biscuit or a small piece of chocolate does it for me - it's a little treat and can brighten up a bit of a dull day. I've mentioned about my weight before, and I have lost quite a bit, but I am just staying the same at the moment - and I'm happy with that for now, but what I don't want to do is gain weight over winter - it is so easily done. Especially when it is cold and a lot of comfort food is higher in fat and calories.

That's why I was really pleased to be asked to sample Weight Watchers biscuits and snacks. They are lower in calories than other snacks, so, as far as I can see...less guilt! I am not following the Weight Watchers plan, so I am not too concerned with the points system, but the fact that they are lower in calories than other snacks is great for me. I am back at work now, and it is a desk job so I would imagine that I'm not exactly speed-burning off the calories!

We were sent the following to sample:

* Weight Watchers Milk Chocolate Digestives
* Weight Watchers Cranberry & Sunflower Seed Oaty Biscuits
* Weight Watchers Caramel Wafers
* Weight Watchers Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
* Weight Watchers Ginger & Lemon Cookies
* Weight Watchers Oat Digestive Biscuits
* Weight Watchers Jaffa Cake Bars
* Weight Watchers Chocolate Biscuits (bars)

The Kids

The kids are all in for snacks. Fruit, chocolate, crisps, carrot sticks, whatever it is they eat it. So it was unsurprising that they were all in for these!

What I loved was that all the bars and biscuits are individually wrapped in portions, so they are great for lunch boxes as well!

Alice and Emily enjoyed the chocolate bars the best.

I'd definitely recommend these, we really enjoy them and the fact that they are low in calories compared to other biscuits and chocolate snacks is a real bonus! There is lots of variety to choose from, and they are yummy!
