Review: Tommee Tippee Weaning Set

I was delighted to be given the opportunity of reviewing some Tommee Tippee products on my blog. We have always used Tommee Tippee products for our babies; including bottle warmers, insulated bottle bags, even the bottles themselves. Rosie is currently rocking the pink patterned baby bottles - we love them!o

But alas, the time has come for us to begin to move on from baby milk and to start introducing some real food into Rosie's diet. I recently wrote about our issues with weaning and potty training here.

We received a selection of Tommee Tippee  products for review

The selection included a pack of six weaning spoons from their Explora range, two sippy cups - one for aged 7-12 months and the other aged 12 months+, a pack of three shatterproof feeding bowls for babies aged 6 months +, and a pack of three feeding plates for babies aged 12 months +. So as you can see we had plenty of products to get testing with!

First of all we opened  the spoons and got cracking straight away. The spoons are fun and colourful, with soft flexible tips. I found this was handy because Rosie is teething  so it was quite nice and soft on her gums. The spoons also have really long handles - this is great as it gives you a bit of leverage for feeding, and obviously the 'aeroplane' is bigger. You know what I mean by that, right?

Choo-choo...Here comes the aeroplane - or the train, whichever.

The cup in the 7-12 month range is also from the Explora range. This is a non-spill cup with a lid that pops off. The Kids on the Go one twists to open and lets the juice or water run through like a sports bottle so no sucking is required. To be honest, Alice used both of these, and loved them. She has one for milk and one for water. Rosie is not ready for one of these cups yet, but when she is I will be happy to let her use them. They have easy-grip handles for small hands and are easy for children to drink from on their own.
They are BPA free and are a great design, I find kids do like products that are attractive for them to look at, as well as the usage of the item. Don't we all?

 Plates & Bowls

The plates and bowls are a pink patterned design  and are shatterproof. They are BPA free and they are also dishwasher and microwave safe - which is also great news. These are really easy to hand wash as well, and are made of a thick material so you can feel that these are quality products that will last.

Alice enjoys getting involed with weaning!

Overall I would recommend these products. Tommee Tippee is a brand that I truly trust, as well as their products being easy and safe to use with your children. I especially love the spoons - they are so easy to use, and Rosie really likes me giving her the spoon 'loaded' so she can attempt to feed herself. This obviously ends up all over the place, but the spoons are a great place for her to start exploring food for now until she is ready for finger foods.

Alice being charming as usual with her new Tommee Tippee plates and cup at tea time!

**Disclosure, we were given these products free of charge for the purpose of this review. All views and words are my own.**
