Our Entry to Be Activity Toys Direct Bloggers!

When I saw the competition to be an Activity Toys Direct Blogger I knew that we would absolutely jump at the chance to enter this. We are a very close family and enjoy spending time together indoors and outdoors. We enjoy learning, exploring and putting toys through their paces - letting our readers know all about toys we have had the opportunity to try, and having loads of fun along the way! So what follows is our entry.

The challenge is to write a blog post explaining how we would spend £750 making over our back garden. We chose to write ours through the eyes of our three children, Emily, Alice and Rosie. We hope you enjoy it.

We Want Our Garden Back!

We love our back garden. But it is sometimes a little sad looking

It seems that Mummy and Daddy have taken over the garden for practical activities - it is more of a grown-up work space than a haven for us children to play and enjoy.

Daddy grows his herbs.

Mummy uses the garden to peg the washing out!

Although to be fair, Daddy has been known to peg out washing too!

Washing is boring! We want fun garden toys to play with - and we want them in our back garden to brighten it up and add a splash of colour outdoors!

"Mummy...Daddy...We want our garden back!"

My name is Emily and I am 10 years old. I am very active and enjoy outdoor toys the best. I join in all the after-school sports clubs I can and can often be found street dancing, playing football, wall climbing and trying out new games!

If I could pick an item to include in our garden make-over it would be this Magnitude trampoline and enclosure.

I think this would look great in our back garden!

How cool would this be???

My name is Alice and I am 2 years old. I am very inquisitive and love exploring new and fun activities. My favourite activity is going to the park. I enjoy playing with my sisters and having fun outdoors!

If I could choose an item for our garden from Activity Toys Direct, I would choose the fun and sun climber sandbox. This has everything that I enjoy doing in one!

Climbing, sliding AND playing with sand - yes please!

My name is Rosie and I am almost 8 months old. At the moment my favourite activities are exploring new textures, sounds, tastes and cuddling with Mummy, Daddy and my sisters.

If I could choose an item for our garden from Activity Toys Direct, I would choose the Step2 Choo Choo Wagon. I bet my sisters would love pulling me around the garden in that! And look at how colourful it is! Maybe Mummy or Daddy could pull all three of us in this!

Choo choo!

So what do you think of our selections for our garden make-over? We really love what we picked - I think that Mummy and Daddy would also agree and anyway if we win...

This blog post is an entry into the Tots100/Activity Toys Direct garden makeover competition
