Mummy Hand-Care Review Part 1: Dettol with E45 Softness Hand Wash

I have been sent a sample of a new hand wash Dettol with E45 softness to review for my blog. I have really dry hands and it is important for me to take care of them, although I am guilty of not doing so!

As a Mum, I love Dettol for it's germ-killing qualities and I also sometimes use E45 cream on my dry skin, so seeing that they had buddied up to produce a hand wash really intrigued me.
When I'm in the kitchen I am ALWAYS doing about ten things at once - chopping chicken, washing baby bottles, emptying the dishwasher... the list goes on. So it's really important for me to wash my hands between tasks! As you can imagine, I have given this product a lot of testing!

The brand boasts that it kills 99.9% of bacteria whilst protecting the skins natural moisture levels. It is infused with honey and camomile and replenishing lotus flower. Now I don't know anything about the healing properties of these ingredients, but I adore the smell and feel of the hand wash. It left my hands feeling soft and smelling lovely. The added bonus of it killing 99.9% of bacteria is great - as a Mum of two kids under 2 you can imagine the kinds of germs I tend to get on my hands!

I am also glad that I get to put this in my bathroom. Emily is a grubby little thing at times, and her hand bacteria levels are probably of the chart, so I'll be encouraging her to get involved!

I would absolutely recommend this product. The RRP is £2.49 and is available in all supermarkets.

*Disclosure: We were sent the samples for the purpose of this review. All views and words are my own. Our hands smell fresh and clean!*
