PaperShaker - Personalised Cards Review

We're getting the babies christened together in a few weeks, and so we were looking for some personalised invites and thank you cards. I really have a thing for stationery, I'm a sucker for cute pictures and really personal messages - cards that you can keep to look back on the event. So when the lovely chaps at PaperShaker offered to create my cards to review on WMSB I was over the moon.

The Website

First of all - making the cards was actually great fun. The website is easy to navigate, and once you have decided on the type of card that you want, you can pretty much customise it as much as you like. So, you can add your own photograph(s), text in a variety of fonts. You can even change the colour of the card, and add any designs that you fancy. I spent quite some time on the website making sure that I made my cards just right for us.

The Invitations

For the invitations I chose the the square flat card (14.7cm x 14.7cm) and customised it from there.

The Thank-You Cards

I fancied something a bit different, so I picked the Slim flat card - Portrait (5.6cm x 19.5cm.) I thought these would be great for close family to keep as bookmarks - I know it's a bit cheesy but I just really loved the idea of this.

I placed my order on Friday, and they were delivered by the following Monday, could not fault this at all. I was also kept up to date by email on when they were dispatched. This is great if you've got an event coming up soon and you need some certainty as to when your cards will be delivered. They arrived in small folders so that they were kept safe from damage during transit.

Prices start from 65p per card, but this obviously depends on your shape and design. You can order them in packs of 10, 20, etc. I would say that these items are excellent value for money, as the quality and service I experienced was fantastic.

The quality of these cards is fabulous. Even the envelopes are of a high quality and have a lovely feel to them. Delivery was fast, and I am really happy with these cards, and I know that my friends and family will be happy to have these too. I would definitely recommend Paper Shaker to make your cards - they do birth announcements and wedding invitations. Strictly speaking, they don't do christening invites, but the customise function on the website means that you could make cards for any occasion.

I have made a really short video - mainly so that you can get an idea of the size and quality of the cards.

*All views in this post are, as always, my own. PaperShaker credited my account with £25 to purchase the items for review*
